Body Image Resilience for Teens
This is a focused 4-week course designed to help teens build practical skills for body image resilience. Through interactive discussion and skills practice, teens will learn to:
Navigate appearance pressures and social media
Cope more flexibly with body image challenges and distress
Build body acceptance and confidence to live fully
The course is informed by evidence-based approaches including The Body Project, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).
Enrollment is open to California teens ages 12–17 of all genders, body sizes, and backgrounds. No specific mental health diagnosis is required.
Teens in eating disorder recovery are welcome when clinically appropriate. A brief screening call is required before enrollment to make sure the course is a good fit.
